Image

What does it mean to be made in the image and likeness of God?  Are you thinking about that at all?  Then Seth was made in the image of Adam.  What does that mean and why did God have to say that?  That is different.  Of course our kids are made in our image.  That is within our scope, but we in His image?  This requires much more understanding… either of who He is or who we are, or both most likely.

But Seth in the image of Adam.  I get that one.  Seth was born a sinner, like his father Adam had become.  In the image of that Adam, the post-fall Adam… that I understand.  When I found out who I was I knew that I was in that image as well.
